What is sound healing?

Sound healing helps us to change our state of being through a process called entrainment, or synchronization. It can reduce anxiety and stress with long, gentle, sustained tones. It can also help activate our bodies with sounds that stimulate our brains. It can be done in person or virtually over headphones.

What is a sound bath?

A Sound Bath is a deeply immersive, full-body listening experience. The experience begins with you either lying down or sitting in a relaxed position. You may wish to close your eves or relax your face and gaze.

With intention, Dae plays sounds to invite gentle therapeutic and restorative processes into your mind and body.

Sound can be an anchor to root the mind during meditation. Different sounds and frequencies activate different parts of your body and brain. Dae uses a variety of instruments in his sessions, including crystal singing bowls, chimes, rattles, flutes, and even gentle drums. These sounds assist in slowing down your brainwaves, shifting from an active brainwave state to a relaxed state, or even a dreamlike state

What do I do during a sound bath?

Nothing! The best part of Sound Healing is there is no wrong way to receive it. All you need to do is lie back, relax, and allow yourself to experience the sensations from the sounds!

It is ideal if you can stay present, awake, and aware of any feelings that come up in the moment, but it's also totally normal if you fall asleep.

What can I expect to feel?

People sometimes notice physical sensations such as feeling tingling or changes in temperature, seeing colors, feeling light or heavy within the body, feeling sleepy, or relaxed. Sometimes folks have intense emotions rise to the surface, including sadness. Others may drift into a deep trance or not feel any sensations at all. These are all normal as there are often many energies being released and cleared and we are all different.
